Ian Trust, Chairperson
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Ian has spent the last 30 years working to drive social and economic change for Aboriginal people in the East Kimberley. He is a founder and Executive Chair of the Wunan Foundation and a Key Leader for Empowered Communities in the East Kimberley. Ian is committed to driving change to improve the lives of Aboriginal people.

Gail Allison JP
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Gail has lived in Wiluna for the past 12 years, having previously resided in Laverton and Kalgoorlie. For the past 10 years worked at the Ngangganawilli Aboriginal Health Service (NAHS) as Manager and Board Member. She previously managed the Western Australia Drug and Alcohol Authority.

Brenda Garstone
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Brenda is an Indigenous woman who grew up in a small remote community and now lives in Kununurra. She has been active in service delivery and policy development in remote communities for more than 20 years and is committed to working to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people and their families.

Gordon Gray
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Gordon was born and raised in Jerramungup in the South East of Western Australia and now lives in Geraldton. Gordon has recently retired as an Environmental Health Officer with Bundiyarra Aboriginal Corporation. Gordon is also Chair of the Midwest Aboriginal Organisations Alliance and a Deputy Chairperson of the Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service.

Phil Matera
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Phil is a Noongar man from the Great Upper Southern town of Wagin. Phil started a small electrical business in 2003 while playing professional football with the West Coast Eagles. In the 10 years following his playing career, Phil has developed a range of successful businesses which form the Matera Group.

Krista McMeeken
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Krista grew up in Esperance and has lived in Perth for the last 8 years. During this time she has built relationships with community leaders in Perth and has participated in as well as led grass roots leadership and academic programs. Krista is passionate about creating genuine relationships between Aboriginal people and the State government.

Carol Pettersen JP
Term of appointment - October 2015 - September 2018
Carol was born at Gnowangerup Mission and raised in the bush at Jerramungup in a family of 17. She is a former President of the Women's Advisory Committee to the Premier of Western Australia on women's issues, and was named National NAIDOC Female Elder of the Year 2008/09. Carol is committed to social change through educational opportunities and economic development and is a tireless worker for the Single Noongar Claim which will benefit the Peoples of the Noongar Nation.
